Bread & Butter 2012 – RVLT

“We still stick to our philosphy, mixing past and present in our way”, and that is exactly what RVLT (Revolution) did. We saw a lot of cheeful prints, little blossoms and flowers. We know a few of you will scream, but its always a question of breaking feminin stuff. Just imagine a guy with beard, dark denim, used boots or chelseas, wearing the shirt open, watch, ring and some jewlery…BOOOM. Its always a question of breaking down such items with contrasting pieces. We came across crewneck sweaters in pastelle tones. The tanktops were interesting, very colourful and boho style. Again we saw a lot of aztec pattern shirts, paisley but on the other hand some poka dot t-shirts. Even the camouflage parka is soft washed and would be a very sick combination with the blue anchor shirts. In general the bread & butter was dominated by pattern, first of all by the camouflage trend. Revolution managed it to put together a lot of different ones, but still keeping an eye on the wearability. They created some pretty impressive styles, which can be worn by almost everybody. Express yourself..
Wir halten immer noch an unserer Philosophie fest, die Vergangenheit und Gegenwart auf unsere eigene Art und Weise zu mixen, und genau das haben die Jungs und Mädels von RVLT (Revolution) geschaftt. Wir haben viele verspielte Hemden geshen, mit feinen Blümchenmustern. Ja, jetzt wird wieder der eine oder andere sagen, nur was für Mädels. Mag ja sein, doch wenn ein Typ mit Bart, ner dunklen Hose, abgewetzten Brogues oder Chelsea Boots das Hemd offen trägt, dazu vllt Tattoos, Uhr, Kette und Ring. BOOOOOM! Mega Outfit. Es kommt immer drauf an solche Teile runterzubrechen um ihnen die Feminität zu nehmen. Auffällig war der massive Einsatz von Melange bei den Rundhals Sweatern. Die Tanktops gefielen uns sehr gut, oversize, sprich etwas länger geschnitten, im azteken muster und farbig, haben gut zu den gefühlten 35 Grad plus 90% Luftfeuchtigkeit gepasst. Ein Highlight war der soft gewaschene Camouflage Parka den man z.B. exzellent mit dem Anker T-Shirt oder dem Polka Dot shirt kombinieren könnte. Revolution hat es geschafft viele verschiedene Muster und Stile harmonisch in Szene zu setzen ohne die Tragbarkeit aus den Augen zu verlieren. Gute Arbeit.
