Christopher Baily, Head of Design at Burberry for a couple of years managed it to renew Burberrys traditional image by constantly releasing amazing creations which never lost the wearability but still look modern and smart. Like the collection he put together for Burberry Prorsum Fall/Winter 2012. Based on very smart fit suits, mainly kept in grey tones, he worked out knitwear, accessories, jackets (unfortunately they came out a too short) and used very neutral but timeless colours and materials, like velvet, felt or leather. The look is very modern, made for the business typ of guy at his mid 30′s who is wearing suits not just because he has to, but likes too and feels the signs of time. That the look is getting more dressed up in general, away from chinos and denim shirts/jackets to a more smart and serious look. Double breaster, ties, vests, cashmere v neck pullover and slim shirts. This look is much harder to work out. But Bailey did amazing work, but feel free to check out what we mean with the help of the runway video and the attached images (our favourite looks
