VIDEO: Tom Ford – Roots of a Perfectionist

“Perfection is almost an illness with me”….Since 2005, after Tom Ford left the house of Gucci, he was respsonsible for all departments, he started his own brand. First focussing on menswear, he added womenswear, designs eyewear and the list goes on and on. Own (Oprah Winfrey Network) created this  minute clip where Ford is trying to express where his perfection comes from, how he critized his parents taste by the age of 7, rearranged the interieur. What drove him to actually study architecture and how he finally managed it to get his foot in the fashion door. Little parts do show him at work, how he rips of parts of his design and show how his creative process looks like. Very interesting and inspiring. Take a worthful look…
