Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Fall/Winter 2012
This might seem disturbing at first sight, because this is a very untypical topic for you, because most of the time we talk about streetwear, sneaker, wearable stuff etc but we want to show what design really means. Dont worry, this is just a excourse into high end fashion clothing for the ladies. Especially how much work hides behind the word Haute Couture. Riccardo Tisci, responsible for Givenchy explains his work for Fall/Winter 2012 and THATS WHERE IT STARTS TO BECOME FASCINATING. The video underneath offers a look at Givenchys haute couture line. Most pieces look like wedding dresses and will maybe limited to one piece only!!!Its very catching and passionate, we dont wanna know how much time it took to place every pearl, every frill and every tulle rose. Our intention is to make you understand what it takes to create clothing, even though we are doing it on a very low level its fuckin hard, cutting leather, placing patches, ironing studs etc SHOW SOME RESPECT
Le3rd Clothing, August 2011. DONE!
