Original Fake Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook/Collection

Original Fake, created by artist KAWS and Tomohiro Konno, shows us their upcoming collection for Fall/Winter 2011. The pieces are all classic, wearable but with the typical signatures, the x’s and the teeths. Sometimes placed very stubtle, like on the shirts and the gloves, but at the vest or the trousers very striking and offensive. And this leads to the problem, you cant really relate the pieces to Original Fake, at least the pieces which are kept very minimal. But maybe this isnt the intention at all. Maybe disappearing in the mass but still beeing visible for preofessionals and people with know how. The growth Original fake went thorugh is remarkable, starting with simple white tees and prints they developed to a grounded brand for more than just streetwear fans.
