Balmain Fall 2011 Lookbook/Collection

Since we saw the great Balmain collection for the women we were asking ourselves when they will be able to transfer this greatness to a mens collection, and with their fall 2011 collection they are heading the right direction. Besides the army boots they almost completely leave the punk theme (destroyed denim, seetrough tops) and took the focus more on a more behemian and marine inspired look, with gold buttons, cabans and parkas, and the most significant detail is the scarf they use a belt or some sort of modern interpreted cummerbund. But like we just said, the most disturbing thing is the footwear, it destroys the great ensemble of earthy tones, voluminous cardigans and scarf. This is Balmains strongest men collection so far.
